Who Are You & What Did You Do With My Puppy?

I got home and couldn't believe how BIG Owen got while I was gone! He's nearly doubled in size since we got him.

I knew Ibis would teach Owen something during my two-week trip, but I didn't expect him to learn how to go up and down the stairs. He's barely taller than the steps, but can navigate all four flights, sometimes faster than us. He cries a little when going down, but I'm sure that will end soon.

Gramma (my mom) bought Owen a couple toys and he LOVES THEM! He carries the soft ring with rattle things dangling from the end all over the house, and the soft plastic toy has saved my fingers countless scratches.

Finally, happy 21st birthday to my nephew!

He has SUCH personality. I mean, just that first picture! He somehow looks old and goofy and puppyish and cute, all at the same time, LOL.

He looks SO goofy! I gave him a short haircut yesterday so now we're cracking up at how skinny he is. He was all fur!

Although I am sad for you both that you will still be in Zihua when we come in October, I am thrilled for me that I get to see you and meet Owen! Tell him not to grow up to much before we get there.

He is so cute and growing up so fast!!

Why does he cry going down the stairs? Is it cause it hurts him to jump down them? Or is he whining for you to pick him up an carry him?

That's awesome that he loves his toys!!

He's such a little cutie pie. In the last picture he looks like a real dog! They grow up so fast! Sigh!

Nadine, he cries because he's still a little scared going down. I guess he flipped over on his first attempt (Ibis caught him) so he's nervous.

JLC, I know! He's figured out that when we talk two octaves higher than normal, we're talking about him.

Robin, I know! He's like a scrawny teenager now.

If he's anything like my dog back home in the States (now officially living with, and being spoiled by my parents), he'll be running down those stairs in no time.

Gypsy, he seems to be getting the hang of it! (and definitely being spoiled)

Janna, his ears are the best part! Well, aside from his nose and his eyes and his howl and...
