I've Run Out of Words

*crickets*

*CRICKETS*

Okay, Okay, I'm not completely out of words, but I'm writing this Monday evening and man am I whooped. I applied for another job and while I always take care with my cover letter, etc, this one went above and beyond. They had a handful of essay question about my job experience and, well, let's just say I got a little verbose.

Who me?

I know.

And now I'm wiped out. I did manage to BACKUP my computer though.

What do you do to re-energize?

Isn't it amazing how something can just sap you of all your energy, and creative thought like that? Whenever this happens to me, I have to just veg out or else I can't even hold a casual conversation let alone create a simple piece of writing! LOL! I tune out, and tune in - TV, movies, or other mindless entertainment - to recharge. Otherwise, it's burn-out city for this girl.

Crossing my fingers and toes! (For you, not to energize myself.) ;)

Good luck with the job search!

For re-energizing, I take walks, do yoga, meditate, bubble baths.

You might want to google, "yoga child's pose". It's a simple posture that really helps when you're tired. As an added bonus, I find it works great against headaches.

Jenny, YES. I haven't felt that brain dead in a long time. Since I had a job, in fact, lol. I vegged & that seems to have helped.

*catches good luck in a butterfly net* Thanks Adam.

Thanks JLC!

Gypsy, that's a good idea, I'll look that up. I've been really bad about stretching lately and my legs have been killing me.

btw, the mysteries of my blog worked again because I just wrote 1600 words!! I'm down to the final chapter!

Movies! Bookstores! But you already knew that. :-)

Good luck, Melanie!

I just discovered that our next campground's nearest bookstore is two hours away; the nearest movie theater is an hour and a half. Unacceptable.

Re-energize. Hmm... I usually take a multi vitamin. Or just continually complain until it's time for bed, lol.

Rum.

Rum, Rum, Rum.

Oh, I can hear the Captain calling.....

Natasha, I'm thinking you might have to adapt to only once a week (or even bi-weekly) if you really want to embrace your new lifestyle. You can't spend all day hunting down bookstores! Or you could... :P

Nadine, I take multi-vitamins in the morning. :) Do you just take them randomly?

Penguin, man... I was eyeing a jumbo bottle of Bacardi yesterday but it cost our total budget for that day. Next time...

Oh, I am crossing my fingers and toes for you!

I listen to books on tape, read, nap, run, do pilates, or bike ride. Those are the healthy things I do when I'm brain dead. We won't talk about the unhealthy things. (Like Whole Wheat Cheetos dipped in olive oil, balsamic vinegar and parmesan cheese.)

WHOLE WHEAT CHEETOS? Are you kidding? That sounds wrong. I LOVE your combination and have made it in the past, but I'd always eat it with Triscuit Thin Crisps. I love those little triangles. I just realized if we move I can have them again! Yay!

Exercise is good too. :)

I made myself hungry writing that comment, so I made myself 3, (count them, 3) bowls of Cheese Its with parm. I'm going to barf now. That's relaxing. Not.

Robin, I'm about to make my standard -- sour cream (although it's not very sour here) mixed with Valentina (a type of hot sauce) then I dip pretzels into it. Yum.

Go, hoo. Hoo rocks!

I do something different. Watch tv, get out of the house, shop (peruse really, not necessarily buy). Anything different.
