I'm Healed!

Well, sort of.

I saw the doctor Tuesday evening and after a couple minutes of poking, he declared me fine. I have to keep putting ointment on it for another three weeks, which means STILL no swimming or beachy things, and I still have to wear a band-aid, but I don't have to go back to his office.

Yay!

We didn't discuss why he wasn't there on Friday, and frankly, I didn't have the energy to ask. I'm just glad this is almost over.

Oh yay! That is awesome, Melanie. I'm so glad it's over, too.

So when is Ibis taking you salsa dancing?

Thanks everyone!

I still have to wear a band-aid for three more weeks, so I still can't do much of anything, including dancing. That particular toe takes a beating while salsa dancing, so I'm guessing it'll still be another month before I can do that.

On behalf of Adam, I'll ask... Where's the pic? :D

I agree with Shadowferret.......

I'm glad your toe is mostly mended :) I hope the next three weeks fly by so that you can get everything back to normal!

The picture would be really boring... It's just a missing toenail. :P

Thanks Lauren!

But we still want to see.....

When Max was younger he dropped a small hunk of a bone(3 lbs.) on my big toenail.
Snapped it hard and I lost it.
That was a painful couple of months.

Mel, thanks for sparing my breakfast. :p
Glad your toe is heeling! (hehe)

Penguin, fortunately this doesn't hurt. I have to be careful not to let that foot dangle over the edge of the bed, but that's about it.

Adam, NO!

JLC, ROFL! I'm glad someone gets it. :P

One of my writing friends and mentors just posted about your city. Wish I knew she was going I would have tried to have y'all meet.

Here is her psot. She is a very talented multi-published author.

No beach is a serious bummer when one of the few nice things about where you live is the friggin' beach! Hang in there!

Thanks Gypsy.

Nadine, me too!

Travis, I checked out her blog. You can see the hotel where Ibis used to work in the sailboat photo. :)

Thanks LM!

Robin, I went to the beach today and just kept my flip-flops on so the band-aid would sort of stay in place. And yes, it's very annoying to be told I can't do certain things.
