Mac

Janna posted one of the circulating picture games, and while she didn't tag me, I decided to play along. I'm to find the sixth photo in the sixth folder on my computer, post and explain it. That folder is Home With Mac 1/30/05, and the picture is this:

The story:

Ibis and I had gone to Michigan for the weekend - I believe this is when I first taught him to ski - and my family pet, Mac, wasn't doing too well. Since he didn't have much time left, I wanted to take several pictures with him to remember him by. (He lived almost another year - he died on Dec 23rd, 2005.)

When I clicked on my 6th album and 6th picture, I was surprised this is the one that appeared. I've always wanted to share them but never really had a reason to before today.

Here's one of the two of us:

Him again:

I loved our dog, but that's not why I've wanted to show them. This picture is the reason I want to share:

This cracks me up EVERY time I see it. My sister and I once sat in front of my computer for ten minutes, tears of laughter streaming down our face. I swear Mac liked Ibis - I really don't know what this is about.

Oh! Mac! Awww! I've always wanted to see pictures of Mac. What a CHARACTER he is! He has such an expressive face, LOL! It makes me shake my head and wonder what in the world he's thinking!

Oh, he's so awesomely cute! And I agree with Spy - he seems quite the character. I see a little mischievous yet distinguished fella. And the last picture is so great.

Spy, he was our sweet little dingbat. :)

Mac is so cute!! What an adorable pup!! And that last picture cracks me up!!

You mentioned getting a puppy, but said that you were allergic. Have your allergies gotten worse? Maybe you could get a hypoallergenic dog?

Mac looks like a very cool dog. :) I bet he was a fun pet to have around.
Thanks for sharing!

Mac was a cute little bugger. The snarl is very funny. Ibis doesn't look too affected, though!e

Nadine, we wanted a Miniature Schnauzer before we left Chicago, and that's what we're thinking we'll get. We have seen them down here but we figure we'll wait until we leave Mexico. They don't shed so I don't have a problem with them.

Robin, Ibis had no idea he was doing that until I showed him the picture. Me rolling on the floor laughing was also a clue...

That is so cute. We had miniature schnauzers when I was growning up too. They are great dogs.

Mary, he was such a sweetie. I cannot wait to get another one!

Lauren, so you understand the attachment. There's a teeny Schnauzer puppy near where my dad has been staying and I just want to eat him up!

I didn't know he was a miniature, I thought he was a full blown Schnauzer.
I thought he was to big to be a miniature.

He was a great dog, I think he is whispering something to Ibis.
Maybe something like this.....
"Hey, dude, watch me crack them up..."

Penguin, he was large for his breed, but yes, he was a miniature. I like your interpretation of what he's saying. :)
