Since today happens to be a Saturday and some of the hotels shoot off fireworks on Saturdays, we might actually get a show tonight. We don't have any special plans and since I'm assuming most of the world will NOT be online, it'll be a quiet day for me.
I didn't get a chance to read Anna Karenina on the trip because the bus was a lot bouncier than I expected, but I've started it since we've returned. I can think of worse ways to spend the day than curling up with a HUGE book, especially now that the rainy season is here and we've actually had a few gray days. (I'm happy about the clouds.)

So... it's 1pm and I haven't begun the work I need to do. Hopefully I can get to my book before evening.
That sounds lovely. I'm about to go on a bike ride. I love dry heaving after a long hill. Makes you feel alive.

Robin, I'm right there with you. The gym we joined doesn't have air and it gets HOT in there. I have to take a break every ten minutes and go to a cooler area of the gym so my head doesn't explode.

I just read the Pyramid, Palace, and Potty posting and that was so very, very bizarre that I had to read it again. The Potty portion was hilarious and eerie at the same time. And I was going to visit Mexico next year.... if I still do, I'm taking my own flashllight!

Hi Rick! Yeah. I carry a lot of random things with me here in Mexico, but flashlight wasn't on my list. Later that day someone was selling keychains with the little LED light and we almost bought a couple.
