Block Party

I'm having a block party and everyone's invited! I've got the basics, but it'd be great if everyone could bring one of the following items:

- writing implement
- Scrabble
- headache potion
- YouTube
- dirty floors
- Facebook
- construction next door
- thesaurus.com
- final box of Samoas that cry inside the freezer
- Dlisted
- hand weights*
- helpful advice that seemed simple three days ago
- Absolute Write
- blogs
- Facebook
- delete key
- undo key
- inability to do things in a non-linear fashion
- flash drive
- delete key
- Facebook
- broom
- dirty dishes
- cute litter of kittens that was born next door
- man selling "pan" (bread) and yelling very loudly
- Dlisted
- Jillian Michael's 30-Day Shred
- novels for leisure reading
- undo key
- ambition

Come one, come all! Also, happy birthday Gramma & Aunt Sue!

*yes, even those are more appealing right now

Count me in for Scrabble. AND a Beastie Boys CD.

You gotta fight... for your right...I hope somebody brings an amazing headache potion.

LOVE this post! So very fun.

Oops... There was supposed to be a paragraph space between my singing and the headache comment...

Then again, maybe the two go together. ;)

ROFL!! Janna, I thought those lines went together perfectly. :D

*puts Janna down for music and Scrabble*

btw, I had a dream last night that you, me, Wendy, and Turkey volunteered to do promotions for an NKOTB concert. L.O.L.

I've got the headache potion, but I am not sure why you want a headache. I work hard to get rid of them.

Also, I noticed you forgot the naked limbo kit. Not to worry. I keep one in the truck for emergencies.

BTW, my word verification is liescode. Lies Code? There is a code? No one told me. Why am I always the last to know?

Allen, I don't necessarily want a headache, but one always seems to accompany these types of parties.

Thanks for the limbo -- a block party isn't the same without some type of limbo.

Count me in for 'ambition' some male hula dancers, and an extra toaster oven.

Melanie Hooyenga said...

*tosses ambition aside and cozies up to hula dancer*

Melanie Hooyenga said...

Oh, rgight.

*plugs in toaster oven to make toasty treats*

Can I come? I'll bring gluten free lazagna and a pitcher of margaritas!

Melanie Hooyenga said...

*smacks forehead*

Aimless, how did I forget about the alcohol? Yes! Bring it along!

I would bring scrabble, but Janna beat me to it. So I would love to bring the litter of kittens - yay! And the 30 day shred. :)

I'm ready to P-A-R-T-Y!

Spy Scribbler said...

I'll bring the Facebooks!* I realized today that I have crossed to the dark side. I used to Facebook for the games and Rocco. Now I Facebook just because I'm addicted, LOL. :-)

* I make no promises to give everyone else a turn.

Count me in for novels and samoas. One last box lingering here, too. :-)

W00t! Par-TAY!!!

Melanie Hooyenga said...

You guys rock!

*marks Nadine down for kittens & Jillian, Sara for Samoas & novels, and Spy for multiple Facebooks*

This is turning into one helluva party!

Robin said...

I can bring lots of dirty dishes! Yay! I'd bring a broom, but I just lost another one. How do you lose brooms, you might ask? Seriously. I have no idea.

Melanie Hooyenga said...

Robin, I'm assuming it has something to do with those teenagers you were telling me about.

Tana said...

I've got plenty of dirty dishes!

I'm in. I've got construction down the street (hope that fits) definitely dirty floors (thanks to puppy) I also have some hand weights, as long as you don't mind the dust :)

Fun Post!
