Migraine Day

Can someone please remove the steel spike that's going through my jaw, up into my eye, and out my forehead?

Thanks.

if it's in your jaw,it could be sinus related. As weird as that sounds. Sometimes sinus infection/irritation can get into your gums/teeth, and then you have jaw pain.

10 mg Maxalt pills work for me. I take two at a time, instead of the one prescribed, and I take them on an empty stomach (I wait until after the migraine to eat). Bliss in less than 30 minutes.

I am thinking you need to go on a migraine preventative like I did...used to have them ALL the time, but they are very rare now. Hope you feel better soon.

Oh dear. Hope you feel better. That sounds like anti-fun.

Um, seriously, sex has been proven to help. But I think you have to catch it before the migraine erupts. (Mine sort of hover and procrastinate for awhile, and then BAM!)

Avoiding dairy and taking a magnesium supplement seem to help, too. (Preventative wise.) You've probably tried nearly everything.

Feel better! I hope you're better already!

Wow, thanks everyone. :)

It was only in my jaw for a little while. Now it's settled in my ear like usual.

PS - I don't think vino would help, being a key trigger and all... :)

LG, thanks.

Ugh! What is it about this week? Mine came on yesterday, early evening, and continued until about the same time today. The fact that you mentioned a steel spike is crazy, because when mine are bad (like this one) I say it feels like an ice pick going in one side and coming out the other. Ugh!

We need to go to the doctor.

Janna, I just talked to another friend who also had one the same time as me. Is Mercury in retrograde or something?

Actually, our barometric pressure has been all screwy here, which I know can affect them. I hope you feel better!
