New Kicks

I'm really hungry and tired and hot but I thought I'd let you all know that I bought new flip flops today. They have lots of traction so hopefully I won't fall in the middle of the street anymore. Although, the minute I put them on and walked out of the store I proceeded to watch my toes and notice how the polish matches the sandals (pink). That's how I fell in the first place.

Eyes forward!

ROFL ... do you have a foot fetish, perchance? ;-)

I ran out of contacts, and so I haven't been able to see my toes for two months. Today, I pulled my foot up to look up close, and ... it wasn't pretty. :-)

OMG! I almost never wear my contacts. I wear my glasses to drive but I was getting over an eye infection when I moved here last year and never got back in the habit of wearing them. Drives Ibis crazy because I can't see half the time. :)

Laser surgery works wonders.

Let's see a picture of those shoes.

I want Lasik so badly! That will come when our finances are back in normal working order.

Rechargeable batteries are coming tomorrow as well, so I'll post a picture then!

I was almost legally blind before I had lasik. I was in the 4th grade when I wore my first pair of glasses. By the time I was 25, they were as thick as magnifying glasses! I stopped wearing contacts when I developed an astigmatism. Luckily lasik cleared that up too! It was a 5 year anniv. gift from Mr. Turkey. I highly recommend it. But not from those lasik mills. Go to a doctor who specializes in cataract surgery and such. That way you know you are in good hands.

Congrats on the pink flip flops!

I'm getting you up/down blinders.

My friend busted out laughing when I realized what I was doing and made me look forward. Blinders might not be a bad idea...
