There haven't been any more attacks but apparently we're still in the news. Today I found an article on the Chicago Tribune's website that goes into more detail than what I found the other day.
Seems there are researchers here trying to determine why there have been so many attacks in the past month. No one has figured anything out but I did hear a grisly rumor. Some people think the mafia has been dumping bodies in the ocean and that's what is drawing the sharks closer to shore.
Note to self: stay away from the mafia AND the ocean. Got it.
UPDATE: Woah, now we're on the front page of CNN's website. We're famous!

Cripes! As if you didn't have enough to worry about.
Wow, you are famous! Scary. The story of the 50 year old first-time surfer was inspirational, though. I want to learn to surf, too, and at this rate, I'll be fifty. :-(
YIPES!!!! Maybe the mafia is paying the sharks to get rid of the bodies for them. Mafia sharks, there's an even scarier thought than the two of them separate!
Shootings, wild dogs, angry drivers, random fires and now shark infested waters. (Have you started clicking your heels yet?)
Spy - I used to dream about learning to surf (something about Keanu Reeves in a wetsuit) but now I'm so scared of the deep water it's never going to happen!
Colby - I debated even saying the M word! Scary, scary.
Turkey - I have callouses on my heels you wouldn't believe. :D
Janna - I like to think it keeps me on my toes. ;)
Oh, ew! I thought people weren't supposed to be tasty. Maybe we are.
Here's a tip from a fellow sharkophobe: never watch the movie Open Water.
I just finished The Old Man and the Sea and the ending (had a bunch of sharks) made me think about you. The boys heard me tell Heath about the sharks and Grant got scared that you were going to get eaten by a shark...I told him not to worry but to say a little prayer :).
Wendy - I have avoided that movie for a reason!
Jenna - that is the sweetest thing! Tell him I don't go in the water so there's no chance of a shark getting me.
