How to Dismantle an iMac

Look, look, look! I cracked open my computer all by myself! The link I posted yesterday was dead on and it only took me five minutes to open it up, switch out the ram, and put her back together. I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but my computer seems to be racing me. I swear the words are coming out faster than I'm typing, or I could just be excited.

After upgrading the ram I installed Adobe's Creative Suite. I feel like I just went on a huge shopping spree with all these new toys! Too bad none of the goodies include writing software. I'll have to stick to my old techniques for the time being.

Don't you feel like you can do anything now? When I am able to fix/update things, computer, brakes on my car, I feel like I can do anything! Where's the hammer to build my deck?

How right you are! After working on the condo last summer I became very well aquainted with a power sander. Now I want to smooth every rough edge I see. ;)

One side benefit of loading all this software is I couldn't be online, which meant I got all my little things done around the house. I even shredded a leftover roasted chicken and washed our souvenir mugs from the butterflies!

Yay! Butterfly souvenir mugs!

Melanie, I'm not sure what part of Mexico you're in, but do let us know that you're okay. There's at least one weird lady in NC who came a looking as soon as she heard tell of an earthquake.

Ah yes, and now since you've done your own upgrading on your computer, maybe I'll be brave enough to do it to mine. :-O
