Name That Object!

This is something I see on a daily basis, but it was the first time it looked so... cavernous. It struck me so much I showed it to Ibis, who said to take a picture. And now here we are.

Any guesses what it is? I may have already given it away just by saying that much, but we'll see. I also realize that once one person guesses, the fun might be over, but work with me here. :)

So whatcha think?

Papaya?

That was my guess, too, but Wendy beat me to it :-).

You are one lucky lady to see that on a daily basis.

Looks to me like rotten fish eggs.
But you wouldn't see those on a regular basis(at least I would hope not).

Drat, you ladies are too quick! Now what do you want to talk about, lol?

Penguin, see, that's what I was going for! And no, I don't see those every day. Bleck, could you imagine?

I never would have guessed Papaya. I don't think I've ever eaten a Papaya. I do love mangoes though. Not that any of that has anything to do with anything. I am in the mood to chime in.

You know what's great. Looking at something you see every day in a new way.

Keeps us open to all possibilities out there!

Amy, I cooked with mango and pineapple yesterday, so you're relevant. :) It was actually the first meal that made Ibis say he was "impressed." Wow!

Ok, I too was going to say fish eggs...I'm glad to be wrong, though.

I would have thought fish eggs as well.

I was a fish egg-er as well. :-)

Rocco beat Mac? He will be so proud!

Mmm... fish eggs and granola, topped with yogurt. :)

I should point out that it took me almost a year to not gag every time I had to pick up the seeds. They go everywhere and are just as slippery and squishy as I imagine fish eggs to be.

Well, I'm glad I came late to this game. I'm guessing papaya. Smart, huh? (I was going to guess pomegranate even though they're red inside. A der.)
