Happy Thanksgiving

I'd like to take a moment to thank all of you - my friends, family, and blogging buddies - for being in my life. You give me a reason to get up in the morning and do what I have to do, and it really means a lot to me. I've said many times how Ibis and I have struggled to make friends here so having you all in my life really does make a difference. Thank you.

I have many things to be thankful for - my health, my writing, my family - but there are plenty of things I'm hoping I can list next year. We should have a lot of answers in the next year and I'm hoping I'll have a much longer list in November '09.

I did manage to watch the Macy's parade this morning and I saw the JMU Marching Royal Dukes perform! Brought a year to my eye. :)

Ibis works until 8pm tonight but I am joining a friend for dinner this evening. Unless they serve turkey at the Italian restaurant, it will be a very untraditional Thanksgiving. ;)

Have a wonderful day!

Do they not sell pavo (guajalote) in the markets? Shame on them.

Feliz dia de dar gracias!

We're going to my mother's house. We'll see how that goes, but I'm SO EXCITED because Glenn promised we get to go to THREE movies tonight! A real film marathon!

This is a HUGE treat for me. :-)

I'll be thinking of you! Happy Thanksgiving! And my stepfamily is Italian, so I'll be having Italian, too, today.

(He Robin) I hope your Thanksgiving day is a happy one. We all hve a lot to be thankful for. Even though Ibis has to work you can be thankful he has a job. So many people in this day and time can't say that. My daughter has been out of work for three months now and they are struggleing but she, her husband and the boys have their health and a network of family to help out. We're off to my mother-in-law's for a Thanksgiving supper of deep fried turkey and all the fixins. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Bunnygirl, I saw frozen turkeys in the store yesterday, but I rarely see turkey at the market or deli. Too bad.

Spy, I miss movies so much! Ibis and I used to go to two at a time - we called it double trouble. We've only done three once & that took a lot out of me. Be sure to do stretches!

Yum for Italian. It's one of my favorites so I don't mind.

Robin, that's very true. I'm not complaining about him working, just informing. Otherwise I end up answering over a series of messages about why we're not having dinner together. :)

I hope your daughter finds work soon, but I'm glad they have you and the rest of the family to lean on.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope your daughter finds work soon, He Robin. That's a stinkerooni. Enjoy your lovely family.

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm so thankful for you, too! Sometimes I feel I know fellow writers better than people in my every day life, and y'all definitely inspire and keep me going! Have a great day!
