Migraine Day

I don't know how many people will be online today, but I hate to skip a day. My head has exploded again so I don't have much to share. My dinner last night was nice - if a little long - and I didn't get any writing done. I feel lazy since I wasn't as busy as I'm sure all of you were, but I was getting into the spirit of the holiday. ;) Hopefully I'll get to it today.

Happy Black Friday, lol.

Migraine - I feel for you. They're second only to childbirth labor on my Worst Pain Ever list. (Yep, I have a list.) Hope you're feeling better soon!

And big fat congratulations on crossing the 50K word line!

Thanks everyone.

(She Robin) I'm sorry you have a migraine! That's not a nice Thanksgiving present.

I had the worst Thanksgiving ever. Adam took too many asshole pills in the morning by mistake. I'm going to have electroshock treatment to block that Thanksgiving out, and try anew next year.

I hope you feel better soon! I'm going to be doing all my Christmas Shopping online. :D

Oh Robin, that sucks!

Zoe, this is the second year we're not doing presents. Makes the holiday season more relaxing.

Wow, I wish we didn't have to do presents. I do LOVE to buy presents for people, but... you know, a Christmas without presents would be very relaxing.

Melanie, I hope your migraine gets better very quickly! Miraculously quickly! *hugs*

Sorry about the migraine! I just kicked my family out to the curb so this is the first day I've been online all week. Hope you feel better!

Melanie Hooyenga said...

Spy, I don't really have much choice on the presents. We were phasing them out before moving here & now there's just no way.

Rachel, all week? Oy... :)

You do realize, my dear, that you are under no ethical obligation to blog every day, don't you? ;o)

Take care of yourself.

Sorry you're not feeling well! Get better soon.
I get migraines but they aren't that bad. The bad part are the lights (visual disturbances) that come before. Do you know the food triggers?

Ooo, and when my kids were little my daughter used to think it was pronounced "Mind-drain". appropriate, no?

Ah, Mel, I'm sorry about the migraine...they are the worst!

Hope you're feeling better soon. :)

I'm not a fan of xmas. For one, I'm not religous so celebrating xmas always seemed hypocritical. But I bought presents for family members out of obligation. This year, however, I told them no more. Not because it hyprocritical. Heck, I've been a hyprocrite all these years, why stop now?

But the fact that my family members went shopping while one had a cell phone cut off and another adding more debt to her credit card bill. I said enough.

This holiday is a circus.

Janet, yeah, I know...

Aimless, that's funny, and ver appropriate!

Thanks Jen & Nadine.

AC, I agree. Sure, it's nice to buy things for people, but half the time they don't even like the gift so you've wasted money. Better to just spend time together or pool the money to travel someplace.

Hope you feel better Mel and I hope you had a good Thanksgiving!!!

"it's nice to buy things for people,"

the beauty of me (LOL) is that i buy gifts for my siblings throughout the year - for no reason. i see something that i think they would like and i buy it.

xmas as a gift giving day is forced (for me that is).

Migranes are awful! :( Didn't it know that it was Thanksgiving :( I hope that it stays away. I get them too, they are no fun!
