Ibis and I joined Facebook last night. I've received invitations from friends over the years but never felt the need to do it. Well, last night I spent over four hours searching for friends and figuring out how everything works - I even started a game of Scrabble with a friend from LA!
It looks like there's a way to share photo albums with people who don't have accounts, so that'll be a nice way to keep my family up to date. We take a lot of random pictures (in case you haven't noticed from this blog) and it'd be nice to show them off.
Are any of you on Facebook? Do you want to be my friend?

No, no facebook. I'm so lame.
Except I'm on MySpace and LinkedIn. The first of which makes me even more lame, and the second never gets logged into.
I'm on LinkedIn but I only go there when one of my contacts does something. You wanna be contacts?
Oh, my gosh, I LOVE Scrabulous. I'm sending you an invitation now!
I'm on Twitter and MySpace; both me and my pseudonym. :-) I manage it all with Minggl and Digsby so it doesn't take up much of my day at all.
PS: Like your new picture!
Thanks Spy!
I already sent you an invite, lol. I'm uploading a ton of pictures right now but I'll check for you as soon as I'm done.
hehe I'm not on facebook but I need to be. It's on my to do list.
Spy, you're on twitter???? I'm zoewinters on twitter.
Can someone please explain, again, what Twitter is? I know it's fabulous and time saving and can get you out of jail, but what IS it?
Facebook junkie right here. I just contacted you. :)
You're already my friend on FaceCrack - hoorah for you finding me. :D I'm also on LinkedIn, so we can be friends there, too. :)
I didn't think I was on Facebook, but apparently I am. Unfortunately, I haven't added a face, lol.
I'm not on Facebook, but I'll be your friend anyway.
Look at all my friends!
Wendy, that's so sweet. :D
LMAO @ "and can get you out of jail" hahaha. Okay, basically it's like a livejournal but not. Instead of long posts and pictures and videos it's basically a "here's what i'm doing right this second" sort of thing.
Each post can be no more than 140 characters long. So you can twitter from your phone like texting, or from online itself. People can get twitter messages from their friends on their phone and you can reply directly back to people.
It's kind of neat. If you join, let me know.
Zoe, that does sound cool. I think if I were back in Chicago I'd be all over this but for now, I think blogging & facebook will have to do. I feel like such a lame-o - I don't have a cell phone.
I want to be your facebook friend!
Colby, are you on there?
I am new to facebook and remembered this post from you. Friend invite sent! lol. Nothing like being 2 months late. :)
