Our first video of Owen! You might want to shove a cotton ball or two in your ears before listening -- he's hitting an octave that sopranos can only dream of.
Natasha, same here. He's getting better about not biting -- or at least he knows he's not supposed to -- but Ibis plays with him where he taunts him to bite. *sigh* Then I have to yell at both of them. ;)
Oh he's so cute! Send him to New Jersey, I'll keep him company.
I have another tip: get a kong and stuff it with peanut butter and dog bones. Give it to him as you're walking out the door. It will keep him busy for a while and he'll associate your leaving with goodies.
I "roughed it" in Zihuatanejo, Mexico for three years with my (now ex) husband while we waited for his US visa. Well, we didn't really rough it -- we had running water & glass in the windows, but it was really hot.
He was denied in September 2009 & I returned to Michigan in February 2010, and while our story ended there, mine continues at Hoosblog and my dog, Owen, is documenting his life on Instagram.
I'm no longer posting to this blog, but I'm leaving it online so you can read about our journey. Check out the links under Posts That Explain Things to get the basics, or the tags at the bottom for specific categories.

That is so unbelievably cute. <3
Bet it gets a "little" annoying after a while though... ;-)

Ya think?
Also, is that how you say goodbye to your fella?
"Go."
I'm shocked, Mel! Shocked!
Adam
:P
I'd already had my goodbye kiss.
Ah, so you had no further use for him.
;-)

He was just tormenting the dog at that point. He does that a lot. Some days it's like I'm training both of them.
"Owen, no bite."
"Ibis, stop teasing him."
...and so on.
I suggest locking them in a cage and leaving them to it.
You could bet on the outcome. ;)

(Ok, I'll stop filling yer comments with sillies now)
But I like the sillies!
I have had to separate them a couple times -- each in their own corner.
Well in that case... ;-)
I get the feeling Owen wouldn't stay in his corner long. Puppies are sneaky like that. :D
(It's why we loves 'em!)

You, sir, are a very wise man.
Hah! That's funny. I'm like that with food. I tell Ittle Bittle to get down, and then I have to tell Glenn not to offer it to him.
I had to watch it again. I'm head over heels in love with Owen.

I played the video while sitting next to my dogs on the couch. They are still howling. I don't know if they feel bad for Owen, or he hurt their ears.
Aimless, we have a kong, I just haven't put anything in it yet. But that's a good idea about treats when we leave, thanks!
Robin, maybe his tale is SO SAD that it made them cry...
Aw. That is so cute. Wow- he does get that voice of his way up there. I was a first soprano in choir and I didn't even hit that note!
You guys are funny!
I especially loved his ears flopping.
Erica, he hurts my ears! The couple days that I had a migraine I thought I was going to have to strangle him.
Gypsy, that's my favorite part. :)
Well, I teared up. Yep, I'm a sucka. I felt bad for Owen.
AC, he sounds like his heart is breaking!
