Not like a drug addiction, but you're lips become dependent on it and stop producing any moisture.Ed Wyrdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00611701736062404775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1124066428536267360.post-1339903722339579372007-12-15T10:53:00.000-06:002007-12-15T10:53:00.000-06:00I'm so jealous of your ability to dance. My kids graduated from a small country public high school I think there were 22 in my daughter's class, and about 18 in the boys (I'd count 'em up, but I know I'd leave somebody out).Of course we live out in the country, I'm not sure there was a private high school within 50 miles of us (there is now).

I loved your post. For some reason I read chapstick as chopstick at first and wondered why on earth you had to have chopsticks with you at all times. Chap stick makes much more sense, I get it.Nitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13902678906435117116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1124066428536267360.post-59714783343219567152007-12-13T23:29:00.000-06:002007-12-13T23:29:00.000-06:00No fair, young lady. You've got four more to tag. ...No fair, young lady. You've got four more to tag. (Post at AW...you'll get takers.) That was a wonderful meme. I went to a small private school too, and like you, wouldn't trade it for public H.S. (especially after hearing my husband's and his friends' stories.) And what is it about the Y chromasome that can't seem to have clothing go from the body to the hampers (I have 3-one for each type of coloring-right in front of the laundry shoot, so it's a no-brainer, you'd think). I have a new rule...if it's not in the hamper, it doesn't get washed on laundry day.political wifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16507848042362214592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1124066428536267360.post-55952369325938540322007-12-13T17:25:00.000-06:002007-12-13T17:25:00.000-06:00Jenna - at least you didn't SWEAR on Nathan's blog...Jenna - at least you didn't SWEAR on Nathan's blog!

*smacks forehead*

You're too sweet.

Janna - mayo? really?

Kris - heh hehMelanie Hooyengahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08781235493983907234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1124066428536267360.post-79473279999403374582007-12-13T16:05:00.000-06:002007-12-13T16:05:00.000-06:00That was supposed to "uncoordinated"...oops :).That was supposed to "uncoordinated"...oops :).Jennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04299674277332549914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1124066428536267360.post-19774847913641384712007-12-13T16:04:00.000-06:002007-12-13T16:04:00.000-06:00I have a crazy story about a crazy, stalkerish, ex...I have a crazy story about a crazy, stalkerish, ex-boyfriend and 30 chapsticks--let's just say I was chapstick obsessed before him and much less after him--maybe that will have to be one of my 5 things I write.

Janna, I'm the same as you, and Mel sure can make an incoordinated girl jealous. I'm a chapstick freak, too!

When my husband and I were engaged, we had to take a marriage preparation class at our church before we could get married. One of the things we had to do is tell each other the number-one thing we didn't understand about the other -- I was thinking and thinking, trying to come up with something very Deep and Profound, and then my husband-to-be says, in all honesty, "I don't understand why she has to have so many different chapsticks."

Ha! fast forward a few years into the future, and now we have two children who are equally chapstick-obsessed...sigh.Elrenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11738565810912490256noreply@blogger.com
